New Jersey Bariatric Center runs a medical weight loss and GLP-1 program out of six New Jersey offices, and the program is sold as a $100-a-month membership. That fee buys the support wrapper, not the drugs — medication costs and provider visits are billed through insurance or self-pay in addition. Insurance is verified before your first visit. Visits happen in person or by telehealth.
## What does the $100 a month cover?
Doctor supervision and prescription management. Ongoing support and personalized guidance. Monthly virtual muscle preservation classes. Live and on-demand nutrition webinars with a registered dietitian. Support groups led by the practice's registered dietitians. A body composition scale for tracking progress. Meal planning resources and plateau support. What it does not cover is the medication itself, which is the line most people will want to read twice.
## Which medications are prescribed?
Five are named on the program page. Zepbound® (tirzepatide). Wegovy®, offered as both a semaglutide injection and an oral tablet. Saxenda® (liraglutide). Foundayo™ (orforglipron). Qsymia® (phentermine & topiramate).
## Who would you actually see?
The team page names eight people: Dr. Ajay Goyal, FACS, and Dr. James Buwen, FACOS; three physician assistants, Samah Morsy, PA-C, Alexis Begliomini, PA-C and Vivian Cheng, PA-C; and three registered dietitians, Dana Babeu, RD, Karen Kelly, RD and Clarissa Padua, RD.
## Where are the six offices, and when are they open?
They are named as Springfield, Hoboken, East Brunswick, Totowa, Sparta and Bridgewater. Here is the awkward part: the locations page gives office names and "Learn More" links only, and prints no street address for any of the six. The contact page does not fill that gap either. Published hours are Monday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 5pm, with Saturday and Sunday closed.
## What they don't publish
Quite a lot, and it is worth knowing before you call. No street address for any office, on either the locations page or the contact page. No consultation fee. No price for bariatric surgery. No statement of who the medical weight loss program is for — no BMI threshold, no eligibility rule, no audience. And although telehealth visits are offered, no list of states those visits can reach. We checked the program page, the home page, the locations page and the contact page on 22 September 2026 and found none of it.
