## What does LH Lean cost?
The consultation is $125 and the four-week trial period is $600, and payment for the trial is settled at the end of your consultation. If you have the practice draw your blood rather than sending you to Labcorp or Quest, that is a $50 draw fee, and the Madison office is the one where they do it. After the four weeks you move to a twelve-week supply, which the site says is meant to cut shipping costs and gaps in care — but no dollar figure for that supply appears anywhere. Medication cannot be returned to the pharmacy, so it is non-refundable.
## How does the program work?
You start with a 30-minute consultation with an APN, which begins a four-week trial. The program itself is weekly injections of a compounded weight loss peptide, a monthly body composition analysis and routine guidance from the medical team. Both offices have an InBody270 body composition analyser. You meet an APN monthly, in person or by telehealth, to go over dosing, symptoms, progress and what to change. The peptides are dispensed from compounding pharmacies, which the site frames as a way to help with cost and availability.
## Which drug will I be on?
The page will not say. It consistently calls it "a compounded weight loss peptide" and names no brand, dose or strength. Semaglutide is capitalised in one place on the LH Lean page. Elsewhere, semaglutide and tirzepatide appear only inside an educational sentence on the LH Lifestyle page — "Examples of commonly known peptides include: insulin, oxytocin, semaglutide, and tirzepatide" — which is a definition, not a formulary. Asked directly whether different GLP-1 options exist, the FAQ answers only "Yes! We offer a variety of weight loss peptides." Ask in the consultation.
## Do they take insurance, and can I be out of state?
No insurance for consultation or follow-up appointment fees; the site attributes that to the time spent per patient and the training the service requires. Bloodwork or urine sent to an outside lab of your choosing does get billed through your insurance. On location, the screening process splits into two paths, one labelled "In-State (NJ ONLY)" and a separate "Out Of State" path with its own steps, so patients outside New Jersey are evidently accepted.
## When is it open, and what isn't published?
Both offices post identical hours: Monday 9 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM to 7 PM, Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, closed Sunday. The service area runs across Madison, Livingston, Florham Park, Chatham, East Hanover, Morristown, Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Millburn, Short Hills, Mendham, Bernardsville and Basking Ridge. Beyond LH Lean, the practice offers LH Lifestyle peptide and hormone therapy, testosterone therapy for men, IV Fusion, vitamin injections, facials, chemical peels, hair restoration, injectables, lasers and microneedling. What we could not find on 22 September 2026, across the LH Lean, LH Lifestyle, about and locations pages: the ongoing cost after the trial, the name of the drug, which states telehealth covers, and which hormone products or brands are used.
